So you have a e28.
Bmw e28 m50 engine swap.
E28 535i or m5 engine mounts.
Custom exhaust although it may be possible to use a combination of e30 and e36 parts.
Actually the disassembly of the engine hasnt been done by me.
Possibly an electric thermo fan.
Use the e34 oil pan pick up and dip stick.
These are direct bolt in.
You can use any m50 s50 m52 or s52 for this swap.
The engine mounts have to be changed by the ones of an e28e24 m30 or by specific.
While disassembling the m52 he thought about getting an m60 v8 in his e28 instead.
E36 engine mount arms.
You get 2 heavy duty thick metal arms.
Keep in mind that a more powerful alternator will use more engine power.
These are durable and made to last.
Mounts are powdercoated in black.
I bought the entire swap package from another e28 enthusiast.
Want to swap a m50 m52 s50 or s52 in.
You get 1 transmission brace.
Since the oilpan collector of the e28 engines is placed infront of the front axle and e36e39e38z3 oilpans are behind it e36e39e38z3 on the left e34 needed for the swap on the right you got only one option here sourcing an oil pan from e34 m50b205 m52 and m50 oilpans are the same difference is only in the collector positioning.
These are designed to use with 535 mounts.
Originally this m52b28 comes from a 1997 bmw e39 528ia touring executive with some minor front end damage.
If the engine is from an e36 the oil pan and pickup tube have to be changed by the ones of an m50 e34.

Starter has to be out of any e36 z3 e46 323 328 e34 e39 or e30 318is.
They have to be changed because in the e34 the oil sump is in the front part like in the e30 engines and in the e36 the sump is in the rear part.
